Jonathan Tate ( JT) was an inspirational man.
His story, the first part of which , he wrote himself follows on the sub page.
His character was tempered by the numerous battles he fought and won during his short but very full life.
Being born with an acute congenital heart condition, suffering a stroke and having surgery at 4 weeks old presaged the trials to follow.
None of these trials, though they came thick and fast, dampened his spirit, which thrived in a way which he recognised he could not physically.
His activities as a football supporter, on the social scene, becoming a fitness trainer and his multitude of friends are testament to his spirit.
